I hope you find this helpful if you have any concerns! Most of these questions can be answered by reading the ESS journal fully, but just in case that's tl;dr, I've compiled a list of my frequently asked questions
Did you get my note?
Yes! I probably did. You can double check by checking your "sent" folder. If the note is marked as read, then you are entered in the ESS!Why aren't you responding to notes?
Because I've received over 100 already, and that's just entries! Many had several questions that I've responded to, a lot
of people have resubmitted without checking their note status first (that makes things a lot harder on my end), and I get a lot of other notes unrelated to ESS. If you're really worried about whether I got you entered or not, please ask first before re-sending an entry form Is it too late to enter?
Nope! There's still plenty of room!I sent a note to the group!
send a note to me: `Crickatoo
please Where can I sign up as a volunteer?
I LOVE YOU. Over at this journal here:
ESS Volunteer Sign Up! Why did you reject my entry?
This is where you can volunteer to gift the giftless!
Do you have extra time and kindness to spare? Want to help make sure that everyone gets art? If your answer to both of these questions is YES then please comment below to sign up as a volunteer!
If you're having trouble with words, you can copy and paste this:
"I volunteer to provide artwork for someone who didn't get any!"
Come December 26th, I'll be sending out notes to those who commented with all the information needed to complete gifts. I'll be hiding comments after notes are sent, unless you offer to draw for more than one person This is just for organizational reasons.
There are only 2 reasons I would do this:
1. Your reference was not an equine/horse
2. You failed to submit your artwork last year without giving me notice or a reasonWhen will we get our drawing assignments?
Entries close on the 15th so if all goes well, no later than November 17th!How many characters can we enter?
As many as you want! But please don't expect your Santa to draw them all Is X medium okay?
All mediums are welcome! Digital art, traditional art, manipulations, sculptures, etc. As long as it's visual, you're good!
I'll add more as I get more questions ^___^
